Currently, the Wood Buffalo Community Foundation has two separate grant streams: the Shell Albian Sands Environment Grant and the Wood Buffalo Community Grant. Other one-time grant opportunities may be available throughout the year. Please continue to check our website and social media for updates.

The Shell Albian Sands Environment Grant (generously provided by the Edmonton Community Foundation). Qualified applications will be received for environmental initiative(s) that focus on environmental education; renewable energy, energy conservation, and/or climate change; land, habitat, and wildlife conservation. 

The Wood Buffalo Community Grants program can support a wide range of your organization’s needs for programs and projects. We support qualified donees across a wide variety of sectors in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.
