Two open opportunities for environment grants:

Shell Albian Sands Environment Grant;
Scotiabank Wildfire Prevention and Disaster Relief Grant

Qualified organizations are encouraged to apply for one or both grants.

Shell albian sands environment grant

Applications will be accepted for the following programs/initiatives: Environmental initiative(s) that focus on environmental education; renewable energy, energy conservation, and/or climate change; land, habitat, and wildlife conservation. Maximum available funding: approximately $8500.

Scotiabank Wildfire Prevention and Disaster Relief Grant

Applications will be accepted for programs and initiatives that support wildfire prevention and disaster relief and/or recovery efforts. Maximum available funding: approximately $19,660.

HOW TO APPLY FOR An environment grant

Projects and initiatives that focus on Environment are encouraged to apply for one or both of the Environment Grant(s). Each application is a simple, one-step application. You can register and apply here.

Portal is open to accept applications from March 1, 2025 to April 30, 2025 at 11:45 p.m. Funding for successful applicants will be awarded in June, 2025.

Wood buffalo Community Grant Target Areas

For each Wood Buffalo Community Grant cycle we establish target areas we wish to fund, based on community need. If you want to discuss a specific idea before applying, please e-mail office@wbcfoundation.ca.
